Czech Banks Opening an account in Czech bank.. I’m using 4 Czech banks. It has turned out so. Personal account in the first, firms accounts in the second and something else in the third. That is why I have to compare with. But surely Raifaizen bank swallowed up Ebanky bank as it was bigger. But the amalgamation process will lasts for several years and I still haven’t find any changes on my accoumt. So what does foreigner need to open an account at a Czech bank? Different banks have different requirements. Top-heavy requirements are at the Ebanky. They are two documents (example: foreign passport and international license) and warrantor. Except it they could ask confirmation form your historical birthplace bank that you already have any an account somewhere. And IMHO their tariffs are top-heavy too. Although I like their internet banking. Everything is really easy, but in the same time quite high safety rate. Sometimes operators are call me up and checking my person asks about validating some transaction over the internet. The next bank in my list is Money banka. One my friend names it Shittybank. And I absolutely agree with him on it. Here you can open an account only having if you have a long term visa (90 days), high tariffs and loutish staff. Plus once they amazed me very much when tariffs on cashing checks had been raised up without notifying meJ. How surprised I will be when after some financial transaction I received only 5 USD instead 25, bank took away 20 for this operation. Raiffeisen Bank – not bad bank. First – well-known, second – middle tariffs, third – they are giving credits to foreigners. For opening an account you just need to have two documents. It is desirable to have a Czech speaking representative while you are opening an account. Although at the metro station Andel they’ve got a Russian speaking colleague. But their internet banking – crappy. Electronic signature is in use – it is the reason. File which you need to hide somewhere to fool around all your enemies. One my friend opened an account in this bank, got docs with the key and left for Byelorussia. Ear ago he tried to manage account over the internet. He been plagued for two nights, then asked me. I phoned to a bank and heard wonderful words – unfortunately, while tha password had been generated failure took a place so the owner have to arrive office himself….. All in all it turned out that opening an account is easier at a Czech Sporozhilna. The same as USSR’s Saving bank. You only need foreigners passport and even tourist visa. Not bad tariffs. Internet banking exists. You can mange your money over the cell phone. Otherwise you will receive an SMS with the password which you need to insert to validate any transaction. Czech have lot other banks except this list: Commerchy, CzOB, HVB, Zhivnostensky bank, Volskbank and others. Practically all of them have internet banking and all of them are presented in the internet. In this case paste any bank name in Google and get all information you need.
